From Our Grandma’s Kitchen to Yours
We’re Barbara and Monica, two sisters who grew up watching and grandmother turn simple ingredients into something magical. In our family, the kitchen was always the warmest place in the house, a place filled with fresh handmade pasta, the sound of the rolling pin, and the smell of sauces slowly simmering on the stove.
As little girls, we stood on chairs just to reach the wooden table, our hands dusted with flour while we tried to copy their gestures. That’s how we learned the art of pasta fatta a mano: by watching, trying, and feeling the rhythm of the dough under our fingers. Over time, those moments became our greatest treasures, a living part of the Emilia tradition, between Modena and Bologna, in the heart of Italy’s Food Valley.
Today, with Try And Taste, we share that same warmth with you. In our private cooking classes, we don’t just teach recipes, we open the door to our family story. We show you how to knead, roll, and shape pasta using traditional tools, simple ingredients, and plenty of patience and care. Every experience is created just for your group, so you can relax, ask questions, laugh, and truly enjoy the process at your own pace.
Our biggest joy is seeing guests from all over the world sit at the table, taste what they’ve made, and feel at home with us. If you leave with floured hands, a full heart, and the confidence to recreate real Italian pasta in your own kitchen, then our story has done what it was meant to do: keep this beautiful tradition alive, one class at a time.
